Even though this year is unconventional, the LCS PTO is still working to support our community by to keeping us all connected. We’ve spent the summer strategizing enrichment and community event programming that reflect our high standards and fit within our new learning models. Below is a sneak peak at some of our upcoming events:

Kahoot Trivia Night (September 22nd) Get ready for a night of fun at our first virtual school-year social! See old and new friends while competing against each other in a friendly and entertaining game of trivia.

“Hayride in a Box” (October 16th) Can’t get to the farm? Let the farm come to you! Purchase and pick-up a farm fresh box of goodies including a special fall craft. The craft activity will include instruction by our art teacher, Mrs. Moench. A wonderful way to spend a fall afternoon.

Trunk or Treat Drive Through (October 30th /Rain date October 29th ) Our annual Trunk or Treat event may look a little different this year, but it will undoubtedly still be a frightful night full of fun and candy, socially distant style! As always, we will need volunteers to join in the fun and decorate their trunks to make this event Spooktacular!

Pie Sale Pick-up (November 24th) Everyone needs pie for Thanksgiving! We will be partnering with a local farm, Ort Farms, to bring you a selection of delicious pies for purchase. The pies will be available for pick up at LCS. Your purchase supports LCS and a local business.

Wizards of Words (December) Our annual Wizards of Words program introduces our students to amazing authors and is an unforgettable experience. This year we are proud to welcome Dan Gutman and Tara Lazar.

Be on the look-out for programming and other PTO initiatives starting and opportunities on how to get involved!
